Product: MicroStation V8 XM Edition Version: 08.09.01.20 Area: Cells Solution There has been a new feature added to MicroStation which allows a user to place a cell with an annotation scale applied to it. In order to use the functionality it must be enabled on the cell itself. To do this: 1. Open the cell library as you would a design file. 2. Open the Model Manager; the cells are listed as models. 3. Browse to the cell to have the annotation scale applied to. 4. Go to the properties icon on the Model Manager and Enable "can be placed as an annotation cell". Once this is enabled and the "annotation scale" lock is set, the user will be able to choose the annotation scale icon located in the "place active cell" dialog. If neither one of these is enabled, the annotation scale icon will be grayed out.
