Forum Post: RE: SAME FONT LOOKS DIFFERENT IN ACAD AND DGN

I am not sure if I understand the situation right: The design file is dwg created in AutoCAD, correct? It means TrueType and SHX fonts can be used in the file. But if opened in MicroStation, the font is reported as MicroStation RSC font. So does it mean there are two definitions of the same font (at least with the same name) available, one SHX in AutoCAD and another RSC in MicroStation? If you want to ensure the font be the same, you have to use the same font definition: TrueType or SHX, not RSC font (because it's not supported in AutoCAD). Or alterantively two completely the same definitions have to be available, one as SHX and another as RSC. Regards, Jan
