Applies To Product(s): MicroStation Version(s): V8 2004, V8 XM, V8i, V8i (SELECTseries) Environment: N\A Area: DWG Subarea: Save Original Author: Conor King, Bentley Technical Support Group Problem Description When saving a DGN file with a Sheet Model to DWG, the DWG file does not convert to an equivalent sheet/layout configuration, instead the data from Sheet Model appears in the DWG model space and the Layout is blank. Steps to Resolve In the Save as DWG Options dialog: Save as DWG options, General tab> Advanced, make sure there is no check mark in the option: Create Separate Files for Sheets. Should the issue persist: Check the Models dialog to see how many models are present in the file If there is only one model, try creating a new blank Design Model Then try saving to DWG again - check if the data appears in the DWG Layout
