Hi Karol, Update 4 will have modo 10 I showed this in last month's SIG running on a dual 22 core (88 thread) machine and as Louis said there is not much new for modo render engine but it does finally support more than 64 threads. The Visualization SIG is just that Special Interest Group about all things visualization not just Luxology we are talking lighting, materials, animation, VR, LumenRT, and now VUE. Every month I try to get folks to tell me what they want the next month's topic to be on and last month I received no request. So this week I showed how to use Adobe Fuse to create fully rigged animated characters which BTW could be used in MicroStation to render stills as well as fully animated in LumenRT and VUE. I also started by showing a Luxology render where a user was struggling with some lighting issues in particular splotches (CONNECT Edition modo 9.01) and I showed why that was happening and what to do to fix it. VUE 2016 ..... I showed VUE I am not pushing it, we are working on a robust exporter to make it very simple for users to export their scenes from MicroStation and to use it. I am a huge fan of this software, it just does a lot of stuff that Luxology does not do and it can render realistic atmospheres with clouds, Godrays , rainbows, stars, snow and rain. I showed a few things that we will be hooking up for Luxology a few months back like cel edge shader, thin film, and iridescence these should be in Update 4. As the Visualization SIG host I try to talk about visualization and to show what we are working on and to get feedback on what you guys as users want. Cheers, Jerry
