I thought SS2 was the last V8i ss to have msbatchplot.ma and ss3 it was removed? no matter now we use sheet models then PO is easier... To address of friends dilemma he has say a drawing with 100 title blocks/ sheet boundaries and each one has a sequential title ie x90, x91 etc so he wanted somehow to extract this and use it to rename the pdfs, if they were added in the right order then the out put could be using the counter and file name then with 3rd party Bulk Rename utility it would be very easy to rename with a pattern and sequence in seconds it can do hundreds of renames... But if they are not in the right order I cannot think how to do it , the files are already built so creating tags or fields isnt really an option for existing , maybe future files... the windows explorer preview in lets me see the text name inside the pdf with out opening so we could work out a sequence to rename all the pdfs with bulk rename utility... But real vba solution would be great for everyone to learn how...
