Hi Konor, as Mara wrote, your environment is not certified for MicroStation, so I guess it's about a playing with environment settings to try to find a better functional configuration. I have no experience with MicroStation in Parallels environment, but you can try: In Parallels configuration, check what DirectX support is set and change it to a different version and check how MicroStation works. In Windows 7 if it's available, MicroStation uses DirectX 11 interface, but quite often not all features are supported correctly if implemented by software only. To set Parallel to simulate e.g. DirectX 9 only can help. Or you can change opposite way: There are new configuration variables in CONNECT Edition QV_DISABLE_D3D11 and QV_DISABLE_HARDWARE (see MicroStation help). Both are not supported for normal use, but you use not standard environment anyway. The first one restrict MicroStation to use newer DirectX features (so they should not be switched of in Parallels), the second one switches off the whole acceleration (very bad idea because of low performance).
